May 16, 9-1 - As part of Wayne's course on electronic music at Harvard Extension School, the students worked on six production projects over the course of the semester. They produced tracks in styles ranging from house and techno to hip-hop and dancehall, jungle and grime, post-rock and glitch, soca and reggaeton. Tonight the class will present their Beat Research alongside some live video work by fellow student, Leonid Andreev. After their presentation, Wayne will spin a set that ranges across the many styles the class explored this term, from Stockhausen to Bambaataa to Brazilian Booty Bass.
